Where Do I Start?

Before you jump in .... you will need to decide on a “Nail System”. We supply UV Gel, Liquid & Powder (Acrylic) plus Fibreglas/Silk nail products.

If you are new to nails your decision may be based on a prior nail service that you had professionaly applied in the past. You may have preferred a particular system or disliked one. If you have had a bad experience in the past, don’t let this put you off - it could have been the Technician’s fault. However, if you had an allergic reaction to a particular system we reccomend that you try to avoid that system.

Take time to read our Nail System Sheets: UV Gel, Liquid & Powder plus Fibreglass/Silk information sheets. Familiarise yourself with the systems, then ask firends and family of their experiences. Telephone other companies asking their views on what systems they regard to be the best. Once you have collected all the information then it is time to decide.

Remember **** DON'T try to be jack of all trades. Learn and master one system at a time. If you try to learn more than one, you will undoubtedly fail.
I Have Chosen My System - What Now!

Sorry to be so boring, but there is more reading to do! Please read our "Health & Safety" and "Contraindications" page. This page will explain the need for cleanliness and risk factors.
Extra Information

Before you start, it is a good idea to read and find out more. Applying nails is not as easy as you may think. Take time to read the following sections: Preparing The Nail, Nail Tip Application, Using Your File and the Maintenance/Infills.

By reading these sections you will understand the theory behind the practical. You will also understand the importance of nail preparation. Nail preparation is the key to long lasting nail extensions. Correct use of the file will prevent nail damage and trauma. Correct nail tip application will prevent air bubbles and "tip heavy" extensions. Regular maintenance will increase the life of your new nails and keep them in tip top condition.
Practice Makes Perfect

Don't worry if your first efforts are disheartening, we have all produced nails like shovels in our time. It will take a lot of commitment, motivation and practice to produce a lovely set of nails. Your first set is only the beginning.

ALWAYS REMEMBER TO LEAVE AT LEAST A 2-3mm MARGIN FREE OF PRODUCT AROUND THE CUTICLE AND SIDE WALL AREA.
